Therapy shaped around you.

Be heard, refocus, be confident

Welcome to Hawthorn Grove Psychotherapy, offering remote Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for adults across England, who are navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma or difficult life transitions. If you are feeling overwhelmed, frozen, hypervigilent or overly self-critical, we can work together at your own pace towards change that is meanigful to you.

Hi, I’m Lou
Welcome to Hawthorn Grove Psychotherapy

I’m a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist based in England, in the UK.  I offer individual online and telephone CBT for adults living in England.  You can explore the [Areas of Mental Health] I work with, and the [HGP Limits of Practice], and [Finding the Right Support] to see whether the support I offer may fit your current needs.

My background includes community mental health support, being an EEG (Elecectrocephalography) technician at a hospital, and CBT training and experience in the UK, as well as postgraduate training in the USA and UK. These experiences have shaped my approach, which means taking time to understand you as a whole person, not just as someone with the difficulty that brings you into therapy.

I value open, straightforward -  kind - conversation, thoughtful questions and regular discussion abouot your progress. You can learn more about my background and what working together might look like by following the links. Taking the first step towards therapy can feel difficult, thank you for dropping by today.
